so this is what i have been working on in the last week - we have been practicing and running through the childrens clubs (VBS)we will be going next week to run our first week in a village not far from birmingham. so if you guys can please pray for our team that would be great.

IN ENGLAND

SO...AFTER A LONG DAY AND SOMEWHAT LONG FLIGHT I HAVE ARRIVED IN ENGLAND - AS I AM TYPING THIS I AM IN BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND. I ARRIVED IN BIRMINGHAM YESTERDAY - THE 19TH. THE DAYS BEFORE I WAS VISITING FAMILY IN A SMALL VILLAGE CALLED SLING - WHICH IS NEAR COLEFORD. IT WAS GREAT SEEING AND MEETING MY STEP-DADS FAMILY. I STAYED WITH IAN'S MUM!! AND GOT TO SEE SOME OF THE SITES - AND ALSO HAD THE BEST AND DO I MEAN BEST FISH AND CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD. WE ALSO WENT TO GLOUCESTER CATHEDRAL AND SAW THE AMAZING ARCHITECTURE - AND THERE WAS ALSO A WEDDING GOING ON IN THE CATHEDRAL AT THE TIME SO I GOT TO HEAR THE ORGAN PLAYING - WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. SO NOW I AM IN BIRMINGHAM - THIS WEEK WE ARE JUST DOING TRAINING ON THE PROGRAM THAT WE WILL RUN - AND TODAY WE ARE LEARNING PUPPETRY WHICH IS PRETTY FUN YAY!!! :) SO THE WEATHER IN ENGLAND YOU MAY ASK - ITS RAINY RIGHT NOW ITS JUST CLOUDY - AND A BIT COOL BUT I HEAR IN CALIFORNIA AT THE MOMENT IS EXTREMELY HOT!! SO I AM ENJOYING THE RAIN AND THE COOLER WEATHER NOW - SINCE NOT HAVING RAIN IN CALIFORNIA - HAVING RAIN IS QUITE NICE!!! :D SO I AM ALSO STARTING TO LIKE HAVING A CUP OF TEA - SINCE IT IS QUITE COOL HERE NOW. SO ANYWAYS THAT'S ABOUT IT FOR NOW - I AM GOING TO POST THE VIDEO AND THIS VIDEO IS OF IAN'S FAMILY - HIS MUM - BROTHER AND HIS WIFE - NEPHEW AND HIS KIDS. JULY 4TH VIDEO

I GOT A VIDEO CAMERA YESTERDAY SO HERE IS A VIDEO FROM JULY 4TH 2009!!! IN OTHER NEWS I AM ABOUT TO LEAVE IN A WEEK AND 2 DAYS - SEEMS SO CRAZY THAT THIS TIME HAS COME SO FAST I KNOW THIS WEEK IS GOING TO FLY BY - AND WEDNESDAY WILL BE HERE BEFORE I KNOW IT - SO EXCITED THAT I WILL BE LEAVING FOR ENGLAND A WEEK FROM WEDNESDAY!!! THURSDAY JULY 16TH I WILL BE IN ENGLAND!!! CRAZY TO THINK THAT I WILL BE IN ENGLAND SO EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO ENGLAND AND SEEING THINGS THAT I HAVE NEVER REALLY SEEN BEFORE - AND THE BEAUTY THAT IS THERE!!!

COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS

SO ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I LAST POSTED I HAVE SUPER BUSY TRYING TO GET ALL FINANCES IN FOR MY TRIP TO ENGLAND AND I THINK IT IS ALL FINALLY IN FOR THE 3600 YAY!! SO I WAS ABLE TO BUY MY TICKET TO ENGLAND I OFFICIALLY LEAVE ON THE 15TH OF JULY - I WILL FLY FROM LOS ANGELES TO LONDON - THEN FROM LONDON I AM GOING TO GO SEE MY STEP-DADS FAMILY NEAR CHEPSTOW. SO FROM LONDON I WILL TAKE A COACH BUS TO CHEPSTOW - AND VISIT WITH MY STEP-DADS MOM AND FAMILY. THEN FROM THERE ON THE 19TH I WILL TAKE ANOTHER COACH BUS FROM GLOUCESTER TO BIRMINGHAM WHERE SOMEONE FROM OM WILL MEET ME AND TAKE ME TO THE LIFEHOPE TRAINING CENTER - I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS AND CANT BELIEVE I WILL BE LEAVING ON THE 15TH OF NEXT MONTH THE DAYS ARE GOING BY SO FAST AND I KNOW THAT THE 15TH WILL BE HERE BEFORE I KNOW IT!!!! IF ANYONE STILL WANTS TO GIVE IT WILL BE GREAT - SINCE I HAVE PAID FOR MY FLIGHT IF I HAVE ENOUGH IN MY ACCOUNT WHEN I FINISH I CAN BE REIMBURSED FOR MY AIRFARE TICKET - THANKS HUGE THANKS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE GIVEN AND OF COARSE TO GOD FOR ALLOWING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO ENGLAND!! Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know I recently came home from Australia, where I was doing the Art Evangelist School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). God's timing and leading appeared to be different than I first thought, and I came home from Australia a bit earlier than I was expecting. Although I have a gift for art, it seems God is leading me more to use my heart for children and youth at this time.

I am writing to tell you about an exciting upcoming trip, which I think you'll want to know about. I'm planning to go with OM (Operation Mobilization) on a short term mission trip to Birmingham, England in July. .OM organizes mission trips to various parts of the world, and each year thousands of Christians from different countries participate, working alongside full-time missionaries and local churches to present the message of Jesus.

After a brief cross-cultural orientation and evangelism training, I'll work with an international team doing outreach in Birmingham, England. OM teams use literature, drama, music, personal conversations and other methods to present the Gospel. Our team will use some of these ways to meet people and tell them about Jesus.

From July 19th – August 16th I working with the team doing Holiday Clubs – these holiday clubs are aimed at children aged 5-11 years old. The club follows the adventures of the lovable puppet hero “Lionheart”. As he learns about himself and God through his adventures, so do the children. Each day's action packed program is built around a different spiritual truth that children of all ages are able to learn and respond to. At the conclusion of the Holiday Clubs there will be a two-week staff conference in the Netherlands for all OM workers. From there I will be going back to Birmingham, England for Community Encounter – from August 31st – December 18th where as part of a team I will learn in sharing the gospel effectively, understanding and living in a new culture, in-depth bible study, as well as hands on and practical ministry skills.

I expect this trip will help me to understand this culture and it will also be a challenging and stretching experience as I work with others to share the Gospel. I'll need people who pray for me while I'm away, asking for safety, good health, and courage to share my faith.

I also need a team of people who will commit to financially help with the costs of the trip (travel, accommodations, food, ministry expenses). The cost to participate in this OM outreach is $3600.00. I need to raise these funds by June 20th. Would you pray about helping to support me as I take part in this outreach?
